Small Tattoos

Small tattoos are a very common choice for someone looking to have a tattoo done on them. Tattoos are as unique as the person getting them and should really represent the person. Yet many people live in a world where a tattoo would not be socially acceptable, such as in a corporate office or professional workplace. In these environments a tattoo is not considered to be appropriate to have and so many people are left with the alternative of small tattoos.

Any tattoo can be made small to a point. Most artists would not be able to make an elaborate Celtic design in too small of a size. This is because the more detailed the design; the harder it becomes to do. So for this reason many tattoos that are small in size have to be simpler in design. This is beneficial for many reasons though. For one they are cheaper to get. The cost of the tattoo is often times determined by the size and the detail of the design. If the tattoo is small then it will be much more affordable to get.

Not everyone gets small tattoos simply to hide it away from other people. Many people like their tattoos to be small because it is less obtrusive when they are deciding things like what to where and what it will look like when they get older. A large tattoo will stretch and warp as the skin sags and wrinkles with age. For the people with smaller designs this is not such a problem. The image of the tattoo stays more solid with aging when it is a smaller design.

So if you choose to get a smaller design for your tattoo, then you have lots to choose from and in the end when you are fifty and wrinkled, you will still have a nice design to look at.
